What’s a mentor agency?
Good question. We made it up. But here’s what it means to us: It’s a team of experienced marketing professionals from a variety of disciplines, here to mentor young professionals interested in a future career in marketing.
At Agency Wild, we see young professionals like a field of wildflowers… scrappy, feral, bold… a kaleidoscope of colorful creativity.
So if you’re a young professional interested in marketing (or you know one!), please keep reading.
Why is it called Agency Wild?
Great question. We’re so glad you asked. The “wild” part is actually derived from the word – and the idea of – wildflowers.
What is it about wildflowers that makes them so different? Maybe it’s the fact that they are not intentionally planted. Instead, they grow naturally in the wild, adapting to most environments regardless of landscape or geography. They are strong, resilient, bold, and beautiful. And incredibly, they will flourish and thrive in just about any condition.
There is an uncanny similarity between wildflowers and you as a young professional. In today’s world, even after graduating from college with knowledge, experience, and often times multiple internships, it feels like the odds are against you. Entry-level jobs are scarce and talented competition is plentiful. You are up against hundreds of other applicants. You have to be persistent and scrappy. You have to be bold and resilient. You have to be like a wildflower.

The team at Agency Wild is made up of the incredibly talented and experienced team of MarketSpace Agency, a Pittsburgh-based creative services agency. We work in a variety of different disciplines, including account management, writing, design, social media, web, and video editing.
When you reach out to us for mentorship, we connect you with the Agency Wild team member(s) that best match your interests.
We’ll schedule a 30-minute Teams meeting to chat about where you are in your college or career journey, what type of role you might be interested in, and what you can be doing to best set yourself up for success.
That 30 minutes may give you all the help you needed to push you in the right direction. Or, maybe you will choose to continue getting mentored until you feel fully ready to go out on your own. Whatever path you choose with Agency Wild is totally up to you.
